Présentation
 Livré-sur-Changeon is a commune of the department of Ille-et-Vilaine. It is located East of the department and therefore in the region of Brittany, in the heart of a triangle Rennes-Vitre-Fougeres. The population is 1669 inhabitants and an area of ​​26.37 km².
 
History

A known old form of the name of the commune is Livriacum, in 1013.

After the Normandy invasions, the abbey of Saint-Florent Saumur founded the priory in the eleventh century following the donation of

Geoffroy Ier. This priory is behind the development of a village around the church. The priory was sold in 1606 to the Jesuits of Rennes, and annexed in 1762 after their expulsion with the college of this city..

The parish of Livré-sur-Changeon formerly depended former bishopric of Rennes. In 1920, the municipality chose the name of Livré-sur-Changeon.

  • Notre Dame de Livré sur Changeon Church  
Breton Romanesque style, the church is that of a Benedictine priory founded in 1023 by the monks of the abbey of Saint-Florent de Saumur. The transept and choir date from the eleventh and twelfth centuries. The bell tower was rebuilt in the eighteenth century. There is a Brussels tapestry dated fifteenth century and which represents the appearance of Christa Marie Madeleine.L'église was classified in 1926; apse and two chapels with murals were classified in 1982.
  • The Chapel Saint-Mauron  (Xvème - XVIIème siècles)
his Chapel is, as of the 12th century, the property of the Priory of Livré. It was rebuilt later and passes to the hands of the Jesuits of Rennes in 1626.
 
  • The chapel Sainte-Anne 
Founded in 1691 by Jeanne of Fire, Lady of the Knighthood. The old manor of the Knighthood was the property of the Lescouët families (in 1502), Ivette (in 1513), of Fire (in 1638), Cockerel (in 1722), Blot (in 1789).
 
  • The stone Roche-Piquée 
This stone is out of red shale and has a 3.85 m height, and a width of 2.15 m to 2.50 m and a thickness of 1,50m. Erected at the time Neolithic era, it is located at Beaudouinais. It was classified in 1933.
